Kiranpreet Basra

Kiran has joined Pavey Law LLP’s family law group as an Associate Lawyer and is excited to continue her career serving the Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo communities. Kiran received her honours law degree from the University of Leicester in 2021 and undergraduate honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2019. Kiran was called to the bar in June 2024.

Kiran has experience in family law and real estate law. She is dedicated to helping clients navigate some of life’s most personal and challenging transitions with clarity, compassion, and confidence. Kiran is known for her thoughtful, client-centred approach, by actively listening to understand each client’s unique situation and desired outcome before developing a practical legal solution.

Outside of work, Kiran likes to spend time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants and travelling. She was also a proud member of Team Canada for Karate and won gold in 2012.
